I am very much impressed by the book “What to say when you talk to yourself – by Shad Helmstetter” and the concept of self-talk. Though I was not aware of this in my childhood days still I have practiced this unconsciously and have achieved certain things.
Self-talk is what you think and say about yourself. When you change your self-talk, you can change anything about you and what you experience and feel about yourself. It will help to achieve our goals. It’s a special thing that changes everything for you. It helps to increase our confidence, self-esteem and power within us. It will help us to overcome our fear, and can give us success in hand. It’s very simple, we all keep on practicing this, but not aware of it. This ongoing dialogue is a natural part of your life and is unavoidable. But we do not do it loud. You can choose to make it positive and supportive or negative and self-defeating. Choosing it positive will empower you to reach great heights that you could previously only imagine. For a change, today stand in front of the mirror, look into your eyes and tell loudly “I am the best”, “I can do”, “I can achieve”, “Today, its going to be the best day”. I am sure you will do the best.
If time permits, read the book I have mentioned. Its one amongst the best sellers.
Have A Happy Day!

do you get this book in Higgin Bothams??
If we watch closely the tennis stars, athletes…etc…, we will see them do this; a tennis star clearing the strings of his racket in the breaks is not necessarily focused on what he is doing at that moment, but is engaged in that self-talk that rejuvenates him for the next one; the murmuring and the gestures we see of the athletes just before they begin their round of competition is to an extent this self-talk that reinforces their belief that they can.. and that they are…; they can achieve what they set to achieve; they are what they envisioned to be…
…and they were all at one point in time as ordinary as one can ever be…before that medal of achievement hung shining on them.
